Innovative solutions for HANSA-FLEX central warehouses

In the HANSA-FLEX central warehouses in Bremen and Geisenfeld, everything has recently been running like clockwork. Thanks to the successful cooperation with Mosca GmbH, the technology leader in the field of strapping systems, an innovative end-of-line solution for the end of the packaging line was installed within just one year.

Faster, better – like clockwork

Whereas previously tasks such as weighing, scanning, labelling and strapping of each individual parcel had to be done manually, these now run fully automatically in a process-optimised manner. As a result, the parcels no longer have to be touched by an employee up to five times on average. Instead, the human work step ends after the goods have been packed and the package has been positioned on the conveyor belt of the packing line. This not only increases the average daily throughput of 600 parcels to a possible 5,000, but also eliminates the error-proneness of the work steps.

Fully automated all along the line

But not only the central warehouse in Bremen has an innovative and efficient packing line. In the second HANSA-FLEX central warehouse in Geisenfeld, an optimal solution was also found especially for strapping, storage and dispatch of goods stored on pallets. Here too, the processes are now fully automated thanks to a pallet distribution system adapted to HANSA-FLEX requirements. This means that HANSA-FLEX goods can be dispatched safely, punctually and reliably from both central warehouses to the customer at any time.
